Ninth List of New Mineral Names1

L. J. Spencer
Assistant-Keeper in the Mineral Department of the British Museam
1Previous lists of this series have been given at the ends of vols. 11–18 (1897– 1919) of this Magazine. The present list duplicates to a certain extent the information already given in Mineralogical Abstracts under the heading ‘New Minerals.’ The matter is, however, here presented, for purposes of reference, as a dictionary list of new mineral-names, rather than as a list of alleged-new minerals. Unfortunately for the science, neither of these would correspond at all closely with a critical list of genuinely-new minerals.
