Abstract: Holmquistite idioblasts occur in a hornblende-titanite-quartz-plagioclase amphibolite, in contact with a lithium (spodumene) pegmatite at Greenbushes, Western Australia. Unit cell parameters, chemical data and the results of a mineralogical investigation of holmquistite and associated minerals in the amphibolite are given.
