locality_id	the internal id number used by MED to identify this locality, used especially when mid-level locality does not have a mindat_id (CAUTION: this number is not permanent, and can change whenever MED is updated with new mindat data)
parent_id	the locality_id number of this locality's parent locality
mindat_id	the number that mindat uses to identify this locality
is_bottom_level	value = "1" if this locality is the lowest level in the locality hierarchy
is_meteorite	value = "1" if this locality is a meteorite
locality_name	short version of the locality name
locality_longname	long version of locality name
lat_deg	locality coordinate, degrees latitude
lat_min	locality coordinate, minutes latitude
lat_sec	locality coordinate, seconds latitude
lon_deg	locality coordinate, degrees longitude
lon_min	locality coordinate, minutes longitude
lon_sec	locality coordinate, seconds longitude
gps_source	value = "mindat" if gps coords are directly from mindat; for upper level localities (not bottom level) value = "average" when the average of the lower level localities is used.
tectonic_settings	tectonic setting assigned to locality
