Michelle_481Located along the Dadou river, Rivet Quarry is within the Peyrebrune Pb–Zn–Ag ore field and mined for gravel. The Rivet Quarry is composed of metabasalt and metadolerite, correlating to the Stage II, main mineralization stage of the Peyrebrune region. Tubulite is associated with galena, pyrite, pyrrhotite, arsenopyrite, stibnite, and Sb sulfosalts of Pb, Ag and Cu, in a gangue of quartz, baryte and carbonates.
