Giersdorf_00000809Economic ore deposits of the Maybell area are found in the uppermost sandstone unit of the Browns Park Formation. The uranium ore deposits are described as tabular, amoeba-shaped lenses of discontinuous bodies within limited stratigraphic intervals.
