Michelle_564Whewellite is found in association with Westphalian age freshwater sediments of the Kladno Coal Basin. Large whewellite crystals are found on dislocations of girdles or on cracks in basal breccia resting on Proterozoic basement. Whewellite has not been found directly in the coal beds.
