Michelle_540The Biraya deposit is comprised of a sequence of lens-shaped carbonatite bodies accompanied by fenites of the Biraya dike. The fenites developed at the expense of Precambrian gneisses, and schists are crosscut by Permian granitoids. These sequences represent the Eastern margin of the North Baikal Highlands.
