Lapilli generally from 0.5 to 15 mm but small bombs reach a few centimetres. ASSOCIATED SILICATE ROCKS: Lavas and tuffs include limburgite, nephelinite, phonolite and leucite tephrite; dykes and larger intrusive bodies include shonkinite, bergalite, phonolite, monchiquite, essexite and theralite.
