Locality Notes from all Ages at Locality:

Michelle_385Trébeurdenite and mössbauerite are found within the clay "gleysol" layer in the beaches and bays of North France. The characteristic blue color and halophyte fossil roots indicate the layer that was once a salt marsh, likely when sea levels were lower.
