Mineral locality data provided by mindat.org

The Mineral Evolution database is currently under development.

The goal of this page is to present localities at which the mineral is found, and estimates of the oldest possible geologic age of the minerals at these localities.

Locality Notes from all Ages at Locality:
Age IDLocality Notes
Jen_0000731MAGMATIC STYLE: Bedded tuffs and agglomerates comprise four sheets which extend over about 8 km2 and have variable thicknesses up to some 80 m. However, sheets interpreted by some as flows. Sparse dykes are up to 10 m thick and some hundreds of metres in length. ASSOCIATED SILICATE ROCKS: Rare and small shonkinite dykes; fenite.
